December draws us inward . . .

with quiet readings

and handmade gifts,

sweet nibbles,

early evening chill,

spirited wonder,

and festive visions.

Linking to {inhabit}, a new tradition at The Little List. Last week, I highlighted my areas of focus; this week, we did it all, focusing on each other and fully inhabiting our home in every way.

Gina asks,

How are YOU… capturing time, filling your table, making memories, weaving rituals, creating warmth, encouraging deep roots, nurturing creativity, being fully present, and learning to fully inhabit the space you call home?

I love this – so cute! You let the photos speak more loudly than the words…

I’m stopping by from The Little List’s {inhabit}. I hope you’ll do the same! You can find mine @ http://sofiasideas.com/2010/12/04/anything-ragged-or-rotten-or-rusty/

Thanks, Sofia! I thought so, too. Besides, these festive days leave less time for putting word to page. That is hard for me, as I have such a physical need to do so, but I am immersing myself in each beautiful moment and letting the words linger for a while.

Heading over to your place now; always a treat!

Whitney,
Thanks for your comment! There are so many super-fantastic blogs out there (yours being one of them) that I’m always a bit baffled (but pleasantly so) when people take the time to visit and comment on mine. I really like your space!

Thank you, Sara! I know what you mean. An hour flies as I follow one great comment, then another, from blog to blog. I love it, though. I’m just now at a place in my life where I can join the conversation, which is so enriching. I especially love how these little online communities enable us to more easily connect with kindred spirits.
